Ethanol should fuel state's future

Wayne State is noted as one of the research universities across America providing research on making ethanol from cellulose. One estimate is that the United States will invest about $1 billion in basic research on ethanol over the next 4-5 years to make cellulose-based ethanol a viable competitor to gasoline.
